Vineyard Location
The vineyard is located in a unique microclimate. It is on a south-facing slope at an elevation of 1570 feet right at the crest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. However, it is in a particularly low dip in the crest of mountains, which means that morning and afternoon fog is more frequent in the vineyard than at most places along the crest. Traveling Hwy 17 across the Santa Cruz Mountains summit in the summer frequently yields a view of the ocean fog pouring thru just this one gap in the crest, and nowhere else.
